Triple Threat Pac is the home to over 150 children of all ages and to the So You Think You Can Dance Team Champions- Best dance team In New England. In just 5 short years  students from all over New England  have come to train with our professional and nurturing staff in a family orientated studio environment. TTPAC is known for its  "Out of the box " choreography, classes and costuming. A full service performing arts center students are provided with opportunities to train with master instructors and our in house instructors in all areas of the arts making them a true "Triple Threat". At TTPAC we take pride in our originality and strive to continue to offer quality education at affordable rates for families.

Marlaina has been dancing and performing her entire life. She has over 30 yrs of training in dance and pageants and credits both for who she is today. As a child and teenager she held many titles in the state and through out New England for the RI.TE.E.N system, Americas National Teenager system and RI  Jr Miss Scholarship system. Throughout her many years of competing she won numerous titles, talent awards, scholarships and attended modeling schools.  Marlaina is also the Director of the  New England Perfect Face Scholarship System and The RI Director of the Us of America National Pageant.

Marlaina has always been involved in the arts as it is her passion. She attended St Mary Academy Bay View where she was a BVA player and a dancer in their very well known Cabaret. In 1994 she was selected by the UCA/UDA organization to perform in London, England in their nationally known Lord Mayors Day Parade representing RI as one of the 4 teens selected and the USA t this very Honorable event in England.

Under her direction since 2008 TTPAC has achieved numerous  Platinum , High Gold and gold dance awards and Title winner and overall placements. Her company has been approved and accredited by the Better Business Bureau and has become know and referred to as RI's award winning Talent Prep studio.  Some of her alumni have  gone on to dance for elite college dance companies and become choreographers. In 2010, after only 2 years as a competitive dance studio TTPAC achieved the highest ranking award for their Seuss production in which they received a PLATINUM  and at a another competition was honored with the award for the most entertaining routine!  TTPAC was also the ONLY team selected to the National All Star team!

 Her students have become some of New England's top talent and in at the NE Talent awards in September she was honored when her student/daughter  Alexis won Ne Best Under 16 Dancer of the year and  Kayleigh Mullen won Best Under 16 Model of the year!

In 2011 TTPAC was honored by SYTYCD judge Mary Murphy when she chose them as New England Best Dance Team after the team performed their production Beautiful Nightmare.   In just their 3rd year of being a competitive dance company the team earned several  Over all High score , High Pt, Title awards and judges awards at regional competitions and  the right to be refereed to as New England's Best Dance team in 2011!

Miss Laina is the proud Mom of 4 children; her twin daughters (14) are competitive dancers and National  pageant title holders who share her passion for the arts and her son (9) is a talented black belt club member and model for Model club Inc. . In 2009 Marlaina and her husband, Russell, became legal guardians to a  young man who was a student of hers since the age of 5. Spencer is a permanent part of her family and now at  18 he is  serving our country in the Marines. She has served as a judge for many pageants and talent competitions and feels that every child should be given the opportunity to explore their creative vision.
                        The concept of this company has been based on that belief.                                           
            
             
Miss Ashley Ursillo - Assistant Director
 
Miss Ashley has been dancing and performing all her life! She is the proud mom to a 2 1/2  year old boy, Troy.Years ago Miss Ashley was a teammate to Miss Laina's daughters where they shared amazing moments and memories at competitions. Miss Ursillo has competed on the local and National level, placing and winning at both. She has won many awards for her "Sassy" stage presence! and made all stars at Hall of Fame Dance Competition! Most recently Miss Ashley competed in The Americas Yankee Miss Pageant where she won 1st runner up in the talent division! 

Ashley's education comes from her 18 + years of training at local studios, Dance Unlimited and Dance Artistry  under the instruction of both studios talented directors. Ashley brings her love and knowledge of dance to the students at TTPAC.  Her routines have placed in over all high scores at competitions and have won special awards give out by the judges. Most recently her one of her routines was  awarded The Broadway Connection Award for Most Broadway Bound performer out of Hundreds of competitors and over 45 studios! Her students have won many talent titles under her instruction and recently was honored when her students and choreography was awarded Best Under 16 Dancer of the Year in New England!

 Miss Ashley, along with other TTPAC teachers participate in workshops,training and master classes offered by Professional Teachers organizations and Guest Instructors. Miss Ashley has studied under Dante Sciarra , Kelly Canone, Jodi Lynn Papa, Nikki Apostole and Sarah K maintaining her education .

Miss Kelly Canone Resident Master Instructor
Kelly Cannone has been an arts educator for more than 25 years. Throughout the last two decades she served on The Arts Advocate of RI, Dance Teachers Club of Connecticut, Dance Masters of America, The Arts Advocate of Rhode Island, and was a Board Member of the Warwick Consortium of the Arts & Humanities. In 1981 she founded Dance Artistry, Inc. in Warwick, RI and became owner of the studio Dancer Magazine called “One of the four most successful studios in America.” She started her own dance company the Dance Artistry Dancers, a non-profit organization, for ages seven to twenty, who perform all across the United States. They have also performed internationally in a cultural exchange program visiting Copenhagen, Denmark, and Minsk and Moscow, Russia.
Kelly is a national award winning choreographer whose work can be seen in various television commercials and theatre productions. She is a staff member of numerous dance conventions and competitions and recently has become an author. Kelly’s articles can be seen in  Dancer Magazine,The Gold Rush, Cheer leading Dance and Drill Magazine and Dance Studio Life. She has also written “Aspiring Dreamz, Goal Setting for Dancers” and “The Broken Doll”-a ballet in production.

Ms Cannone has been on staff with Dance Olympus and Candance conventions. Kelly was a special awards judge and guest faculty member at various performing arts competitions. She presents special awards recognizing unique talents in young performers and motivating them to continue achieving their goals. She was the jazz adjudicator for prestigious World Tap and Jazz Dance Championships to select a team to represent the US.


Mrs Caitlin Jacques -Miss Caitlin has over 18 years of dance education, competing and training.  She is an award winning dancer and has taken classes in North Carolina under well known dance instructors in ballet and tap.

Miss Caitlin is a graduate and member of Dance Teachers club of Boston where she excl ed in Tap scoring a 98% !  Miss Caitlin provides  a teaching method of discipline and formal Ballet Training to the Company .  In 2010  Miss Caitlin had two of her solos place in the top 15 High Point solos out of 41! They achieved a ranking of 4th and 11th . Her Jr tap routine "Jailhouse Rock " also won its  division and now she is a Platinum award winning choreographer  .Her students have won many talent titles under her instruction a s well a special judges awards.  Miss Caitlin was just married this past April to her husband Mike.

   

                                                         Miss Molly Gouveia

TTPAC acrobatics Competitive and Rec teacher - Miss Molly has over 1 8 years of dance and gymnastics under her belt from Let’s Dance Studio as well as Warwick Dance and Gymnastics. She was captain of the Toll Gate High School gymnastics team where she competed on a State level. She graduated from Toll Gate in 2008.
She is currently attending Rhode Island College, majoring in education and is the assistant coach to  the Tollgate gymnastics team.
Miss Molly's routines have been acknowledged by judges with special awards and most recently a duet was honored with being placed on the National All star team! Most recently Miss Molly  TTPAC Tumble team was awarded Platinum and placed 1st in overall In Oct 2010 Miss Molly was crowned Americas Yankee Miss  National Talent and Photogenic winner, this was her 1st pageant experience!

Miss Meryn Flynn-

Miss Meryn is TTPAC's vocal coach.She is also a actress and  comedian with several community theater groups and comedy clubsShe was recently hired as a cast member for the Renaissance fair .Meryn has been singing and performing her entire life and attends classes in music and arts .Miss Meryn was just nominated and won her 1st Theater award  in 2011. She has several vocal students that train with her from all over New England and her private sessions are in big demand at the studio .


  Miss Jessica Carr

Jessica  started dancing at Let's Dance dance studio and has been dancing for the past 18yrs. Miss Jess has been competing both locally and nationally for the past 10years, she has  won many awards including high scores, placing, and special award for technique. Jessica was also a member of  the toll gate gymnastics team and competed on a state level in her  floor routine. Jessica started with competing with triple threat 2 years ago with lyrical solos and in May 2011 auditioned for SYTYCD NE . Along with other TTPAC teachers and students Miss Jess enjoys going to  dance conventions in NYC , taking master classes and challenging herself.. Along with dancing  Miss Jess was  just recently licensed as an EMT-cardiac.

Alisha Habershaw-   Sr Teacher in Training -

Alisha is 17 years old and has been training under Miss Laina since she was 5 years old. She is a award winning dancer and was the 1st Miss Triple Threat title holder in 2008. Her love for dance is contagious and brings passion to every piece.  Alisha has been awarded several judges awards for her passion and stage presence .She has studied under Dante Sciarra , Sarah K  , Kelly Connone on several occasions and will attend Dance teachers club of Boston . Alisha was selected to the Teacher in training program in 2009 and will complete it in 2011. She is an assistant in many of the toddler- Pre k classes and in rec ballet /lyrical classes. Alisha attends West Warwick High school and is a Sr there.

    
What is a Jr assistant? Who is eligible?

The program is hand selected and students have to have at minim 3 years of formal training in all areas of dance and be at least 13 years old. Selections are already made for the year in the summer. Jr assistants must shadow a teacher and attend training workshops under the assistant Director.
Students
in the program have opportunities to assist in class rooms along our award winning teachers. They remain the in the program for 3 years and are evaluated every 3 months. TTPAC has had huge success with this program over the years and is proud to provide hands on education opportunities for our budding teachers!

            
Alexis and Ashlee Rapoza -   Jr Teacher assistants    

The 4th generation of dancers in their family the Rapoza twins are Miss Laina's 14 year old daughters. Dancing since the age of 3 the Rapoza girls have trained in ballet, tap, acro, jazz, lyrical and more. The twins have trained with master instructor Dante Sciarra , Kelly Cannone , Sarah K , Channing Cooke and Peter Sabisono of SYTYCD and continue to challenge them selves in their dance education. They began competing in competitions at the age of 6 and have won many awards with their former studio's group routines and as soloist on the regional and national level. This year both girls received High Golds for their solos and group routines under TTPAC!

 Both are members of the Jr National Honor Society and share a passion for performing.  Alexis enjoys  lyrical and ballet and plans  to attend Dance Teachers Club Of Boston  and UDA camps, following in the foot steps of her mother. She was just recently crowned Americas Yankee Miss Talent Pre teen for 2009 this OCT and in Feb was crowned RI Cinderella Over all Talent title winner, photogenic winner and Over all Teen title winner!  Alexis is also RI Jr Miss Us of America 2010 and Competed at the national pageant this august placing overall (4th) in comp card. Recently she was just awarded top talent at ACP pageant and won a bid to nationals . She placed in the TOP 10 semi finalists. Alexis was named and won Best Under 16 Dancer of the year in New England in 2010! The future is bright for Lexi and this year she has already achieved top placement at local dance competitions placing with Platinum awards, judges awards and overall high scores.

Ashlee lives, sleeps and breaths tap! She is a talented theater student and has headlined many plays/musicals such as Annie and our own Broadway Bound Cabaret. She will be competing for her first talent title in March and this year took on the responsibility of designing all of the Seuss Production props. Ashlee achieved the highest ranking solos yet for TTPAC in 2010 where she placed 4th out of 41 solos and was less then a pt from Platinum! Ashlee was recently selected as New England Jr Miss Us Of America and  competed at nationals this summer.Ashlee recently was just selected Top Talent at the ACP pageant and also won a bid to nationals . Ashlee won Americas Liberty Miss Jr Talent in September 2010 for her TAP SOLO!  Both girls are teen Company Members of TTPAC and assist in many combo classes.

          

Gianna Marie Costantino - Jr teacher assistant-

Gianna has been training under Miss Laina since the age of 2. Gigi is 15 years old and and joins our staff this year as a teacher in training. She has won numerous titles and awards in dance and acrobatics over the years. Most recently she was selected to the Turn it up all star national team and held the title of Miss Triple Threat in 2009.

She has won judges awards for her acrobatics skills and tumbling routines over the years.Gigi as her friends and family call her excels in acrobatics and can be found assisting Miss Molly. Her love of dance and demonstration of good sportsmanship led Miss Laina to place her in the teacher in training program at the studio. She has and continues to study under master instructors and is entering the 10th grade at Warwick Veteran High school this year .
